Introduction

Stop believing in everything. Then, whatever is left when you wake up, that is real. This notion of reality is of course just as paradoxical and individualistic as any model of reality that currently exists, but it makes the pragmatic point that we as humans cannot be accountable for the realities we choose to live. Reality as defined by conscious analysis is an uncontrollable force of perception that we just accept and somehow navigate through till the end of our lives.

When I think of what reality is I immediately fall into a trance. I begin to look inside myself for answers contradictory to what is expected of modern scientific experimentation. When I can’t find an answer, I create a situation to test reality in order to learn, in order to hopelessly grasp onto something that is beyond grasp but it somehow makes me feel better. These situations are not meant to be spiritual or nice. They alienate and disturb and in the end come out to be nothing more than what they aimed to emulate; a senseless blip in time.
